Alison Berland – President
My name is Alison Berland, and I have a third-grader and a first-grader at BKE. I joined the PTO in the fall of 2022 to meet other parents and make a difference for the school. After serving on the communications team for a couple of years, I am now serving as the president. During the day, I work at Little Angels Early Learning Center as an assistant preschool teacher. I love to take walks, play games, and celebrate holidays with my family. My favorite food is any dessert, but especially chocolate. If I have free time, I usually spend it reading–in fact, I almost always carry a book in my purse. I’m so glad to be a part of this very dedicated PTO and Bobcat community!
Nicole Dengel – Vice-President
I’m Nicole Dengel, and I serve as the PTO Vice President this year. I joined the PTO when my son was in kindergarten because I wanted to be involved in the school community and support the teachers and staff who work so hard for our kiddos. We have accomplished some amazing work as a PTO team over the last few years, including the cafeteria mural, new kickball field, and several teacher meals for conference nights. My favorite season is early fall–all of the excitement of sports and back-to-school time, and the weather is still warm! When I have free time, I like to look up new recipes that I will not get around to actually trying.
